Raspberry Pi 5, which will be on the shelves at the end of October, brings with it a number of new developments compared to Raspberry Pi 4. More about some of the features of the device and why you shouldn't miss it:
Revolution in Processing Power: Raspberry Pi 5 is powered by a 2.4GHz quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A76 CPU. This allows it to run faster with twice the processing power of its predecessor. Now you can perform more complex operations and multitask more smoothly.
Graphics Performance: VideoCore VII GPU comes with OpenGL ES 3.1 and Vulkan 1.2 support. This allows you to play games more smoothly and watch videos in 4K resolution perfectly.
Dual 4K Display Support: Raspberry Pi 5 comes with dual 4Kp60 HDMI display outputs, allowing for dual monitor setups. It's now easier to work on multiple screens for work or play.
High-Speed Media Watching: Thanks to the 4Kp60 HEVC decoder, you can watch high-resolution media files fluently. Cinema enjoyment is now in the comfort of your home.
Fast Wireless Connectivity: Raspberry Pi 5 supports dual-band 802.11acWi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0/BLE. You can experience a faster and more reliable wireless connection.
Wide Connection Options: Raspberry Pi 5 has a high-speed microSD card interface with SDR104 mode support for fast data transfer. It also offers three USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports that can operate at up to 2Gbps. Gigabit Ethernet is available with PoE+ support.
Camera and Display Compatibility: Thanks to its 2 × 4-lane MIPI camera/display transceiver, the Raspberry Pi 5 enables fast and flexible camera and display connections.
Expansion Possibilities: With the PCIe 2.0 x1 interface, the Raspberry Pi 5 offers greater flexibility for connecting fast peripherals. Additionally, Raspberry Pi comes with a standard 40-pin GPIO header, so you can easily expand your projects.
Real-Time Clock and Power Button: Raspberry Pi 5 includes useful features like real-time clock and power button, making it more user-friendly.
