The effects of Artificial Intelligence applications began to appear quickly. The most obvious events are layoffs.

News of layoffs started to come from very large companies, generally around the world. These companies are mostly software-based companies. So it's not just 20-30 people; Thousands, even tens of thousands of employees have been laid off and continue to be laid off. As for the profession types, as you can immediately understand, they are software.

In particular, Artificial Intelligence, which has gained very good features and abilities in producing new software, has become able to easily undertake software works in workplaces when it started to produce programs above the average standard.

Apart from software developers, there is another group. The support staff of large internet media, e-commerce portals, e-health portals and other similar large portals who communicate with customers have also begun to be laid off.

There were people behind the "ChatBoxes" on the websites, and now there are artificial intelligence applications behind the "ChatBoxes". These developments also led to layoffs.

Transformations in every industrial field continue not slowly but at great speed. Before moving on to the manufacturing industry, it is necessary to give another example. For example; logistics and transportation sectors began to change. Many examples such as luggage delivery at airports, unmanned delivery in the cargo sector, and the transition to robotic systems in in-factory logistics management systems show that many manual workers will also become unemployed.

Autonomous vehicles are already on the roads.

It is necessary to evaluate Artificial Intelligence developments from another dimension. Developments in chip technologies are also one of the forces that change the world. The race to produce the fastest chips (processors, memory units) continues at full speed. There is something very important at this point: the development of artificial intelligence chips.

Maybe 10-15 years ago, of course, there was the concept of artificial intelligence, while the concepts of chip-computer and artificial intelligence were evaluated separately, now we hear the news of artificial intelligence chips. In other words, we can think that there is an “Artificial Intelligence operating system” inside a CPU or an MCU.

So, how do we keep up with these dizzying developments? When we ask this question as an electronics and computer scientist, how will we find the answers?

We can find this answer by asking another question. What becomes valuable? What we call data is becoming valuable. If the basis of Artificial Intelligence is data, then we can say that data is the most important thing.

No matter which professional group we work in, acting without forgetting what is most important and knowing how to evaluate it will make it easier for us to adapt to the new age.

One of the most important components in the concept of Artificial Intelligence is the "Model" issue. Data processing method, data processing Model. We can think of the so-called model as a kind of engine. An engine that produces results for us.

When we rethink these two components, namely the concepts of data and model; The first thing we need to do is; We should create a data source and model related to our own business.

I read a new news. OpenAI has put its products on sale, consisting of diversified data and models for every professional field. An important feature of these products is that they are "trainable". That is, when you purchase an “Artificial Intelligence” product, you will be able to combine this artificial intelligence with your own data sources and produce new results. It's like educating a young child. But training for your own business.

In order to keep up with the new age, it becomes a necessity for everyone to know and learn the components of the concept of artificial intelligence.
